Olbermann on the Limbaugh & Robertson

January 14, 2010

Limbaugh and Robertson represent everything that is wrong with the right in this country – no point is apparently too cheap not to be scored. And for the trifecta, I’m waiting for Palin to make a statement. Then again, she’s probably not realized that something happened in Haiti. Hell, she probably doesn’t know where Haiti is.

    Wow. I missed that.
That’s one hell of a return shot.
Robertson has long since stopped being about “Christianity” and he remains only “right wing”.

Olbermann is one of those people that I find myself agreeing with, and then wishing he weren’t on my side. He just comes across as such a pompous, sanctimonious prick sometimes.

I thought Jon Stewart’s response was a lot better:

My only problem with it is he takes a shot at Rachel Maddow which, while a valid point about her talking politics too soon after the tragedy, should not have been juxtaposed with Limbaugh and Robertson. Her comments might have been too soon, but they were legitimate observations. Limbaugh’s and Robertson’s, however, are not legitimate under any circumstances.
