Texans apparently think the Flintstones is a documentary

Nearly a third of Texans believe humans and dinosaurs roamed the earth at the same time, and more than half disagree with the theory that humans developed from earlier species of animals. More here.
Maybe this is in their biology textbooks.
At least Hanna-Barbara knew that they were making jokes when they cribbed from Jackie Gleason to make The Flintstones.
