    Correction: Microsoft is not trying to copyright sudo, they have patented it. Despite tons of prior art, the USPTO granted a patent.

    Are they granting a patent on SUDO or on microsofts’ “improvement” on SUDO ? Remember, many of Edison’s 1000 or so patents were merely improvements on previous art, which is quite legal. (If unethical)
