"There’s lots of evidence in its [evolution’s] favor. But that just doesn’t make it true."

I don’t get it — Is there anything else with plenty of evidence, yet false?

There's mountains of evidence in favor of evolution and nothing but a fistful of bronze age legends in favor of creation. But, go ahead and believe the bronze age myth.
Right.. gotcha. and next month when I go to the doctor, I'm gonna have him adjust my humors. Hopefully he won't have to bleed me too much.

'We're certainly no longer content with merely saying "I don't know." We have to have answers......'

Isn't that why we have religion in the first place? To compensate for not knowing?

Some day, when Todd wakes up and considers/realises: 'heck, I might actually be wrong', he might find that he actually has most of the pieces already in place.
All you need to do Todd, is not start with your answer (try the beginning), and it's surprisingly easy...

It gets really confusing when you start with a bronze-aged answer and try to apply it in the 21st century.
