As has been pointed out, not only was the man rude, but he was also wrong. Someone tried to whitewash the whole episode by pointing out that people heckle the PM all the time in the house of commons in the UK, but I’m not buying that. We have a tradition here where when the President speaks, you shut up and let him. Along with not standing up when the President of the United States enters the room, this is about as close to Lese majeste as we get in this country.
