The researchers acknowledged that the pili &quot;increased&quot; and, therefore, must have already existed in the bacteria and we can assume that some of the bacteria also had flagella.  Darwinists consistently misrepresent ID advocates who have always accepted that natural selection will cause adaptation of populations of organisms to their environment. There is no evidence of an increase in information however.
